It starts with a feather...

The feather was caught by a mouse. The mouse was caught and eaten by an eagle. Then the eagle was eaten by a lion, then the lion was eaten by a zebra. The zebra was eaten by a cow and the cow was eaten by a pig. The pig was eaten by a princess and the princess was eaten by a hyena and the hyena was eaten by a bone....

Subjects/Themes
Post card to the future of Leidsche Rijn.

Written after savaging the surrounding areas and reflecting up on what was collected, experienced and seen.
Temporality...
A moment in time...
Is what film & image captures...
This art film invites the viewer to step into a moment where they can travel through time. Our past and present history as humans seems to be on repeat and only getting worse.

The underpinning factor of the way we engage and negotiate with and within our environment determines current and future results. And whether we dawn on a utopian or dystopian approach we still have to live in and deal with the present moment in time.

This film raises all these elements to the surface in a clear and simple format, while capturing a perspective that could be used when tackling current global issues.

Timing past, present, future

Playful storytelling installation with soil and types of mud… (to be collected or have already in the space) other materials from the store that are to represent manmade or natural elements. Water bodies held in something… larger paper

The lockdown. (sourcing things locally, what travels through time and what we have now to work with in LR.. etc)

Typewriter (a story that wants to be told)

Pens for writing on the windows…

Other types of cultures…

Timeline:

Themes: Food, nature and sustainability. There associations. (photos, collection of materials and notes.) observations, ask other people questions… in the notebook…

• Mapping: present what the experiences and what they collected. Putting objects that have relationship to it, connecting or contrasting etc... (Pick/writing up themes that come out of the constitution.)

• Show the video Mango & Me, Speculation: take an item/object or character and its story… (Past, Present, Future)

• Storytelling: Pick your favourite object that will then represent a character, theme, location could be the starting point from the walk. At least 2 places in time… Open ending story for someone to add too it…. On larger paper. Future focused!
